Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, the Project Manager demonstrates Lean leadership through the application of continuous improvement and problem-solving tools. He/she coaches and develops distribution center work teams on improvement concepts and work routines that help stabilize our operations. He is also responsible for analyzing and proposing business solutions to optimize distribution center operational flows. His role is strategic in the organization to participate in a culture change aimed at adding more value to our internal and external customers.

Working conditions:

Monday to Friday, daytime, 40 hours/week
Possibility of teleworking one day a week

Travel: willing to travel on occasion

 

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Actively participates in the deployment of the operational excellence culture;

  • Initiates A3 (DMAIC) projects to solve operational problems and supports distribution centers in execution;

  • Uses change management to modify operational habits and behaviors;

  • Reviews and improves business process engineering according to operational needs;

  • Facilitates Kaizen and workshops, as required.

  • Develops and coaches stakeholders in continuous improvement;

  • Establishes and understands the needs and priorities of internal customers (multi-site);

  • Proactively identifies and mitigates risks (contingency planning);

  • Coordinates the various resources involved in project development and execution;

  • Maintains and develops good business relations with internal and external customers.

  • All other related tasks.

     

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management or relevant training/experience;

  • 5-7 years project management experience in a manufacturing environment;

  • Yellow Belt certification or higher in Lean Six Sigma;

  • Knowledge of SCRUM agility with the Jira portal (asset);

  • Strong teamwork skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to manage change;

  • Knowledge of Autocad software (asset);

  • PMP or CAPM certification (asset);

  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite);

  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken);

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills;

  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines;

  • Experience in Kaizen and workshop facilitation;

  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
