Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, the inventory technician is responsible and committed to respecting the values ​​and achieving the objectives of the Robert Group. The inventory technician must ensure the integrity of our physical inventories as well as the accuracy of the information in our computer systems. This role is to ensure that operations are efficient (availability of products when preparing orders) and that our reports are truthful and credible in front of our customers. Through his actions, he contributes to the smooth running of operations and, in collaboration with his supervisor, to provide quality service to our external customers while at the same time having the interests of the company at heart.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Responsible for coordinating and conducting all requests for physical inventories of our clients
  • Responsible for setting up and monitoring cyclical counts for the good maintenance of our inventories
  • Responsible for the creation of new products 
  • Responsible for external and internal customer satisfaction in its sector (respond quickly to e-mails and customer inquiries about product surveys or inventory requests)
  • Ensure that the requested inventory documentation is sent when necessary
  • Be sure to follow and keep the damage area up to date and investigate any damage.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:

  • • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position and Warehouse environtment (cooler)
  • High school diploma
  • Training in supply management or other training related to the field
  • Excellent ability to use computer systems
  • Experienced in Manhattan / SAP / other systems (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Controlled Goods (an asset)
