Melia is looking for a Human Resources Advisor for its client in the pharmaceutical field located in Longueuil.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Advisor will act as an expert and provide the necessary guidance and support to the management team in the analysis, formulation and implementation of integrated human resources solutions.
The Human Resources Advisor will promote human resources programs and related best business practices and will be responsible for the implementation of the various initiatives stemming from the human resources function's strategy.
The Human Resources Advisor will act as the main resource for managers and will ensure that all programs are deployed and applied for his group of managers (labour relations, disciplinary process, performance management, salary review, individual development, succession management, talent acquisition, etc.). He will ensure compliance with corporate policies, practices and initiatives and will represent the needs of operational activities to the corporate. In addition, he or she will be called upon to lead or participate in various committees or special projects.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
The responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor will be;
Advise clients on the implementation of processes and practices in the field;
Understand the reality of his clients while identifying business issues requiring the intervention of the human resources team;
Manage talent and change management, employee engagement, acquisition, development and retention;
Have an operational role (planning, needs analysis, coordination, training) or a strategic role (coaching, decision support, conflict management, work organization, organizational climate analysis);
Ensure the creation of a work climate conducive to employee well-being and development;
Be responsible for developing labour relations strategies in conjunction with the management team, managing executions and supporting the specific action plans that result;
To position oneself as a specialist in labour relations with the plant's managers, professionals and unionized employees;
Proactively resolve conflicts through the implementation and management of labour relations committees;
Actively participates in the collective agreement renewal and negotiation process.
In order to join the team, you must have:
To join the Human Resources Advisor team you must have;
Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or in a field relevant to employment;
At least 5 to 10 years of experience in a generalist role, including a minimum of 3 years of solid experience in labour relations, including collective agreement negotiation;
Experience in the pharmaceutical field (strong asset);
Bilingualism, spoken and written, essential (French, English);
Strong ability to act as a catalyst for change through its power of influence, its know-how and its innovative spirit;
Leadership and ability to establish business partnerships and harmonious relationships with various internal stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment;
Strong ability to influence in a consulting role and to identify programs and initiatives that will effectively support client groups;
