Groupe Robert is currently looking for a computer technician for daytime work from Monday to Friday for its Boucherville terminal. Boucherville terminal.
Under the direction of the Support Supervisor, the technician will provide telephone and on-site technical support to internal users on various tools and software, computer equipment, in-house applications, etc. He/she will be responsible for configuring and installing IP telephones. He/she will be actively involved in special IT projects, and will have to work with various stakeholders to bring them to fruition. He/she will also have to keep abreast of new technologies and equipment available on the market in order to propose, test and recommend solutions for various projects.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Provide Level 2 Helpdesk support to users - Resolve problems and escalate Level 3 support cases; - Provide telephone and on-site technical support; - Identify, track and document incident resolution activities in the ticketing system, including decisions and actions taken through to final resolution; - Imaging workstations for new deployments; - Configure and support users of warehouse equipment, cell phones, computers, etc. ; - Manage Zebra-Honeywell RF mobile equipment (configure, diagnose, resolve); - Participate in troubleshooting and corrective action; - Help evaluate and update office automation tools; - Manage the distribution of assets such as desktops, laptops, telephones and IT equipment; - Participate in troubleshooting and corrective action; - Any other related tasks.
In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:
DEC in computer science or equivalent experience;
7 to 10 years' experience in IT systems;
Good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory environments;
Good knowledge of portable equipment, computers and thin clients; Knowledge of RF equipment (Zebra, Honeywell, Soti MobiControl etc.);
Resourcefulness and autonomy;
Team spirit;
Customer service oriented;
Networking skills;
Analysis and troubleshooting of server and network problems;
Knowledge of Citrix environment;
Knowledge of VMWare virtual environments an asset;
SCCM, WDM, McAfee and Carbon Black system management software, an asset;
Knowledge of Cisco networking, an asset.
