Reporting to the Director of Workshops & Fleet Maintenance, the Workshops Management Sector Manager's mission is to ensure optimized management of maintenance and repairs of the equipment of the entire general transport fleet.

These effective strategies will improve the availability rate while reducing maintenance costs. He/she will have to ensure that work procedures are continuously improved and adapted to all our types of equipment while ensuring their application and ensuring the homogeneity of the practices of his/her department. To do this, he/she must be able to empower his/her team and rely on the efforts of each person to maximize the efficiency of all the workshops under his/her responsibility. 

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

Ensures that the objectives (KPIs) established by workshop and globally in SMTR are respected;
Ensures that he/she has a global vision of the workload of the workshops under his/her responsibility;
Ensures that the preventive maintenance program is carried out and updated to meet the standards established by the SAAQ, the MTO, the DOT, the technical department or other needs defined by the company;
Evaluates and implements the various maintenance and preventive maintenance projects specific to the company;
Ensures compliance with the preventive maintenance work schedule (PM, campaign, etc.);
Implements the best practices of the industry;
Establishes and implements standard times;
Ensures the accuracy and quality of information entered into our maintenance system (WFA);

In order to join Groupe Robert's team, you must have:

5 to 7 years of relevant experience in this field (maintenance management)
DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics or relevant professional training (AEP in trailer mechanics) or equivalent experience;
Solid experience in team management;
Good knowledge of computers.
Excellent communication skills in French and English, both spoken and written;
Strong leadership and influencing skills;
Results-oriented;
Ability to make decisions and justify them;
Relational skills in listening, collaboration and communication
 Demonstrate autonomy and responsibility;
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously;
