Our earliest years were defined by versatility and trust. Serving essential industries and local communities, Groupe Robert grew steadily by putting reliability first. As demand evolved, so did our operations — expanding fleets, new routes, and a growing commitment to doing things the right way.
Becoming an Integrated Logistics Partner
The addition of warehousing marked a turning point. With the opening of our first warehouse in Rougemont, Groupe Robert began building a more complete logistics offering — one that gave customers greater control, flexibility, and peace of mind.
Strategic acquisitions and site expansions followed, laying the foundation for a growing distribution network designed to support increasingly complex supply chains.
Adapting, Expanding, and Scaling
As the industry changed, Groupe Robert adapted. From navigating deregulation to expanding into new markets, each milestone strengthened our capabilities and broadened our reach.
The 1990s and early 2000s marked a period of accelerated growth — new distribution centres, expanded fleets, and a strong presence in both Québec and Ontario. Temperature-controlled warehousing, transloading, and maintenance services further reinforced our end-to-end approach.

Growth has always gone hand in hand with innovation. Investments in technology, systems, and infrastructure — including advanced warehouse management and enterprise platforms — have helped us operate with greater efficiency, visibility, and consistency at scale.
